Blackguard

Hey,

I am looking towards making a Blackguard. But would like to know what class or classes to stick with blackguard. I am thinking going all 30 in blackguard for the upgrades to sneak attack. Was thinking of maybe 5 (1 epic) levels of fighter for epic weapons focus. But I am stuck on the third class. Any suggestions.

Rogue. More sneak attack, and Hide is a required skill for Blackguard.

Why not just go 10 Ftr and 30 Blk ... and stay dual classed.... ??.. just because you CAN pick three classes doesn't mean you HAVE too.....

If your main reason for going past 10 blackguard is for sneak attack upgrades.... I would instead recommend stopping at 10 blackguard.... make sure all 10 blackguard levels are pre-epic. Start off with 10 fighter levels, (or paladin levels if you wanna be nasty about it hehe), then get your blackguard in.... and then post epic, hit up rogue for the sneak attacks and improved evasion, skillpoints, UMD, etc. 20 levels of rogue will get ya a nice extra 10d6 sneak attack, and that should stack nicely with your BG sneaks... if you really wanna get sick with it, grab some improved sneak attacks on top of that

If you do decide to start wityh Paladin, I recmommend having 13 STR and 13 CHA so you can qyalify for power attack, and then take Divine Shield and Divine Might (to make these feats worth it you are going to want to have a very good charisma) note: they can only be taken on your paladin or blackguard levels.
