Assassin and Blackguard Spells
Bioware made a mess out of the assassin and BG classes by giving them only a very few of their spells as 1/day feats rather than actual spell slots with their own spell lists.
The NWN1 engine can't add any more spell casting classes... but I just had an idea, inspired by the Aenean epic magic system.
First, reference for the classes
Assassins
Blackguards
So....
At the levels specified, give assassins/blackguards a feat, "Spell Level I-IV". It's use counter will be based on class level and the relevant ability score (int for assassins, wisdom for blackguards).
Now, for assassins...
After level up, they use a vc command, say. ;;aspell choose. This will list the total assassin spell list. The assassin then uses another vc command to select his or her spells known (which depends on levels). Once the spell is chosen, a variable is set on the assassin, and they can then access the spell for casting. The spell can't be swapped out until the assassin takes another class level.
To cast the spell, they first choose the spell they wish to cast (say, ;;aspell list1, list2, list3, list4 to see their spells known, ;;aspell 1, ;;aspell 2, ect., to select a specific spell, and then... use the feat to actually cast. The chosen spell will fire off the spell script. Assassins, even though their arcane spells are worked off intelligence, cast like bards/sorcs, so this system will almost exactly duplicate the PnP mechanics.
Now for blackguards....
I would say for them, use the same method. Even though in PnP, they prepare their spells like clerics, the same system for assassins may be easier to do. For the vc commands... ;;bspell rather than ;;aspell. To balance out the spontaneous casting benefit, could limit their spells to spells known rather than access to the full list.
As for the spell lists....
A number of the spells on the assassin and blackguard spell lists aren't in Aenea. I'm sure a suitable list could be made though with substitutions... darkfire switched for the BG corrupt weapon, path of fog switched in for the assassin spell obscuring mist, ect.
In total... this would add 8 feats... or rather, replace the current spell feats BGs and assassins get with the new counter-based spell casting feat. No additional feats, just feat tweaks (with icon changes). Allow a VC command to link the feat to fire off the appropriate spell script.... and take into account the assassins/blackguards class levels for the caster levels, along with the relevant ability modifiers/feats/ect.
badabing, badaboom.... proper assassin and semi-proper blackguard spell books!

Re: Assassin and Blackguard Spells
Or even... since the assassin and blackguard spell lists are so limited... just ";;aspell list, and ;;bspell list, rather than separate list commands for each spell level.

Sounds cool. AoD for blackgaurds would be lovely if they dont have it already.

Re: Assassin and Blackguard Spells
Anything that adds more versatility to the otherwise barren spell-casting prowess of these two classes is a god idea in my books.
