Rune-screwed items? A quick fix...

Have you used rune paints on an item, and then found you can't use the paints on them any more after that?

A quick fix is to talk to Drakenak Magestone, the dwarf in red at the bar in the Sleeping Dragon Inn. Following his instructions will replace many, if not all items.

Just a note though... if you've modified the item in any manner (added crystals, dwarf/maker work, ect), you will lose those tweaks with this method, as Drakenak removes the item, and gives you a new version out of the palette without any consideration for changes you've made to the original.

For items you've tweaked out in some manner, you will still need a DM to help replace (and re-tweaked) items... but for items which are unmodified, that red-clad dwarf is a quick way to fix your rune-painting woes.
