I've never seen The Princess Bride. It was the film we always put on at like 3.00 am at my friend's house, and I would inevitably fall asleep about 10 minutes in.

I feel like, at this point, if I actaully ever saw it, I'd almost cease to be myself.

Well, for what its worth, I think it is a comedic classic.... it would be a shame
if you didnt get thru it at least once. It is fraught with wit and funny.

Okay, here's the deal. We've been Netflixin a lot lately, and I mean alot. This is from a Sex and the City Season 1 episode entitled "Valley of the 20-Something Men". Funny as hell, so when I heard it, I had to throw it up here. But if y'all don't consider this kosher, I'll gladly bow out of this round and pass the point to another....

What server are any of us on? I cycle between NwN, console games, WoW... and now, after this (soon to be)past weekend LARPing. (I had a blast, BTW)

Who knew that throwing bean bags at someone and smacking them with a big PVC pipe covered in padding and duct tape would be so much fun?! (EDIT): Then I realize that I will be deprived of such a fun activity for the next 40 days... At least it gives me some time to get some proper gear I guess. (/EDIT)

I'm a staff wielding druid who frequently sits at the bottom of the hill to the bar on a self imposed watch duty.... or probably whatever super evasive enemy that you find that likes to run in circles. Note that super evasive is no understatement. I outlasted the boss as his henchman while I was on NPC duty...

[Naturally evasive, i.e. dodging blows and spells without the use of special skills but rather with natural agility. If anyone was there, you probably saw me in combat at least once, and you'll know exactly who I am. I'd love to meet up with any Aeneans next time we're there, but otherwise, don't concern yourselves with it. Very Happy

I stayed away from WoW, after the epic raids in EQ, where you HAD to commit to 6 or 8 hour sessions in front of the computer to do the epic raids, and at least 2 raids a week, sometimes more, and then XP grinding to keep your AAs up, when I quit EQ I said no more, that is the great thing about NWN, especially Aenea, if I have to take a few months off for family/work/etc,then I come back and start back in with the same crew, and get caught right back up.

Agreed. I dont play WoW nearly as much anymore. When you get to the endgame raiding, the time comittment ramps up WAAAAY too much... and because you can't persue endgame content solo, you are beholden to your guild or raid team's schedule... if you can't commit to that schedule and stick to it, you either get crap from the other raiders, or you end up feeling guilty...

The beauty of NWN and Aenea is that even the endgame can be persued alone... and at your preference for time/schedule. That doesnt mean you can't party up, of course.... but you don't have to.

Im actually going to try and draw my brother out of wow and get him on aenea.... im not sure it will work, but we will see.

note: When I do play wow, I am on the Suramar server.

I have made a brief foray onto the Neverendless-wow server. Smaller, private, and not so full of people ... we'll see how much it cuts into my NwN time.
