Prompted in part by this post, I was wondering if we can get books that are different sizes? It's a cosmetic thing, really, but a tiny book would be cool! Even a 1/2 size book, I could feel that...

I didn't have time to comment on the other thread before it got locked....

.... The Amethyst Dragon , would there be any problem in using the vc commands (pc tool xxxx) to rename the "." book ? .... Something such as "My Journal".... and adding in in your own description such as

"This is my journal. There are many like it but this one is mine. My journal is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my journal is useless. Without my journal I am useless. I must use my journal true. Before my diety I swear this creed: my journal and myself are defenders of Aenea, we are the masters of our entries, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no bugs.

[This item is used as a backup database storage for your character]"

I can guess that the "." book is given on level up/ new player/ entry to Aenea, this just gives it some more in-game feel for such a widget.

Even more useful (IMHO), could the PC Crystal be used as that database function rather than the book?

Hmm, speaking of that, The Amethyst Dragon... what happens when a character reincarnates/ascends now? Does all their database info go byebye with the book item when everything else gets deleted out of their inventory?

Ooooh ... why don't we have the option to change the appearance of the crystal? Maybe to a book, maybe to something else of a similar size ... could even tie that into PC motivations ("Why do I have this crystal, anyways?") - A prayer book or a bauble or something along those lines.

Oops. Fixed for next reset. The books should stay in inventory to carry over some of the information.
