Used: Elemental Swarm
Could this spell be changed to bring in all 4 elementals at the same time? It's not much of a swarm as it stands right now... more like a reincarnating summon creature IX

Yes please. Not just for this spell... but the '1 summon per PC' limitation in general is just a total bummer. NWNwikki seems to suggest there is a way to change the limit with custom content...

Yeah, I think there is a module wide setting for the numbers of henchmen/summons/familiars/underlings/horses any one person can have "attached" to thier PC... though I'll be damned if I can remember what it is.. it can be found easiest by perusing any number of "henchmen Ai" hak's....

Two days ago I raised the maximum number of henchmen a single PC can have. After I finish up with the epic magic system (and some other things), I'm going to be altering every summoning spell so that the creatures called are created as henchmen instead of summons.
No, this won't apply to the Master of the Menagerie. That semi-class is powerful enough as it is.
Yes, this means multiple castings of animate dead will mean multiple undead in your little group. Of course, animate dead will also be gaining the requirement that it be cast on NPC corpses/remains to function (creating generic skeletons or zombies) instead of just summoning undead from nowhere.

As far as elemental swarm...I'm going to leave that one as-is, since I kind of like it. Of course, after these changes, you could get the same result by casting multiple summon monster spells...

If we've got multiple sets of remains lying around, will we be able to get more than one hench-undead out of a single casting (as in PnP)?
Also, if we animate a giant's remains, do we get to have giant skeletons?

Adaptive summons to the nearby creatures would be awesome, but I'm not sure how hard it would be to code

My personal request would be to have the appearance of the mummy dust change to something appropriate for your alignment. Good casters shouldnt get undead...maybe a deva or something and so on.

the stats wouldnt need to be different....suspension of disbelief would be enough if just the appearance was different. We used something similar on Athars Reborn..a server where i dm'd
If ya was good...you got a winged deva....if neutral(any neutral) you got a marut(kinda an armored thingy in cep, its a planar beast) and if evil you got the mummy. It just made it seem more sensible to us, maybe ad will take it to heart and drop in a appearance shift check for alignment for us wizzy types
