I know this was sorta posted in the other thread but i thought id discuss it further here. Will there be the other color of drakes installed? it would be cool to get a dragon that conforms with your alignment Razz

Speaking of dragons...is it in your skills The Amethyst Dragon to add the rams horns brass dragons are spose to have? i always loved *Blaize's* look from dragonlance and i was glad to see they passed it on to the other game worlds as well as to what brass dragons looked like with the ram horns Razz

Maybe sometime. If so, it won't be for quite a while.

I've never seen brass dragons with ram's horns. But then again, I've never paid that much attention to Dragonlance, since it's an entirely different world.

Copper: the Rift
Blue: where do you find blue dragons?

Brass dragon horns: Ah, I see. Not something I'll be adding, since little rams horns like that would look really out of place with the sturdier "shield-like" plates of more modern (3rd edition) brass dragons.

aye...my favorite mod of this series was the exploration of skullcap...then the world was so rich with history and background......

Then tsr said let fifth age be released and let krynn go to hell....and it went to hell Sad and there was much sadness in the gaming community.

As for the newer dragons...i like them save for the ones that have the er...fan like wings (like the one in your pic The Amethyst Dragon)as they dont appear as if they could even fly with wings like that. (personal opinion of course)

My wife would agree 100% that 5th age killed many peoples fanatacism towards the dl world.

One thing Im not a fan of myself is putting together a table top 3rd edition game together and using a classic dragon model, then look at the monster manual and scratch your head Razz. But I do like the models currently in use with the nwn system.

So, a different baby dragon related question: by permanent, do you mean *permanent*, as in the dragon will recognize its reincarnated or ascended companion and remain loyal? Miow's got an egg, but she might reincarnate soon, so I haven't hatched it yet in case she's about to lose her friend anyway...

As I understand it, yes the Dragon should remain attuned to you.

My question is.... it has been quite a while since my dragon hatched.... I have not noticed a change in size or statistics. I hatched it on the 23rd of last month, and I imagine a great deal of in-game time has passed since then, enough to surely increase a single age category. What gives?

As stated by The Amethyst Dragon himself...
1 game hour = 2 minutes of real time
1 game day = ~48 minutes of real time
1 game month = 28 days / 1344 minutes real time (about 22 1/2 hours)
1 game year = 12 months / 336 days / 16,128 minutes real time (about 269 hours or 11 1/4 days)

A dragon stops being a wyrmling 6 game years after hatching.

Therefore, we're looking at around 1.5 months for the next rank to be achieved. Note; this is raw time, not time played.

Apparently I misread the 6 game years, I thought it was only 1 year for the first age category.
