Working Notes (CEP Sparky Spawner)
I've just started to delve into the use of CEP's "Sparky Spawner" scripts for encounters. The documentation that is currently available is, to put it mildly, rough.
I'm going to be working on cleaning it up and making it more legible here in this post, for myself and for others. This is definitely a work in progress, since I'll need to experiment with actually using it in the PW module as I go.
And yes, so far I do plan on replacing many of the more "random" encounters with this system to liven things up a bit.
Edited: Forum kept messing up my formatting. Copied into MS Word, saved as pdf file for easier reading.
Sections left out until further study/experimentation is done: "levels" and "mcs".

With this information, I see that it states "(with some code additions/alterations by The Amethyst Dragon)". Does this mean you have altered the script[s] that CEP has provided?

I've so far made a minor addition (the ability to use the "fullmoon" option for a valid time for the encounter to fire, for use with werecreatures...I was able to add this since I do know when Aenea's full moons happen).

Okay, I will work on the system and try to understand it better.
Question:
I can use this either way, mean by spawning by monster's resref or create an encounter template so it can spawn off?
