Partially Used: Familar and Animal Companion upgrade

, is there any way to allow familars and animal companions to have the three items like we can give our dragon companions? I know Lyann just will not bring her familar into most places she hunts because he cannot survive. And he is level 40! Skywatcher quit calling her animal companion long ago because he is only 12th level.

As a side note, is it possible to make henchment hirable at the Guild levelable and permanent, so each time you go back you can ask for your guy and slowly level up a henchman and give him stuff and maybe keep him alive.

I like both ideas.

Just as an FYI, you can feed any party members you 'control' potions by dragging them onto the creature directly from inventory. It does help a tiny bit with survivability.

This would be cool - I've never even considered hiring henchmen an option, just because of the way I fight. Maybe I'll go back and see what they're like. Any girls available?
