It was. Too bad it got shafted by scyfi as they did.

If you liked the show, you should look up the books. The show wasn't a completely faithful adaption of the books, but a lotta the important elements are there.

Will the female Cuban police officer be in the books?

I think I've packed just about enough into the upcoming hak update.

Undersea tileset
Versatile Dungeon tileset
Magic Staff Overhaul
VFX-based parrots
Removal of redundant content that's now in CEP
other miscellaneous stuff

Now I just need to compress is all into a pair of downloads (a new full "playerpack" and a big "patch" for current players)...
upload it via FTP to the Vault (and my server for WorldGate users)...
then wait for the big files to get manually transferred to the Vault download page.
then update the server's hak files...
then start using new content for building.

Edited to add: Using the VFX parrots, I plan on eventually adding hawks, ravens, and owls. I'd add them now, but they'll take some work and I want to get the new content uploaded so I can spend some serious time building new areas, doing bugfixes, and other "PCs will see this soon" stuff.

That is disgusting! If I were a DM, I would have to roll DC vs distraction for the simple stench that it would create in the heat. And that stain is never gonna come out even if you soak it....

Well, Angelica's familiar is a stringy, mangy raven... so a lot of that still applies

eesh.... yeah, at least one of my staffs needs a tweak. Poor Mother Aerith of Asis had her beautiful sapphire tipped staff turn into a skull on top of a spine!

PM/email me the item name and I'll fix up her staff in the toolset so she can do a Drakenak or DM swap. There's a more "faceted" sapphire topper ( part #1 3 ) now, as well as a faceted sapphire topper that glows a bit in the dark ( part #3 2 ). There's also a sapphire crystal cluster ( part #13 8 ) and glowing cluster ( part #16 8 ). There are also blue topaz versions of each of those, which are just a lighter blue.

Just some pics from the toolset for those that have yet to see any of the new magical staves in-game...

Once again, delivers! Those look awesome!

Oh I so want to find one of those teleportation staffs... finally Master Crideas must have given out he's secrets to his Rod of Transportation, and some other genius mage has crafted into a line of staffs.... would it possible to get a hint as to where to go to find one from ?


Has the Staff of Withering been overhauled ?.. There were some great skull staves in the update...
