Halloween Event

Posted on the Facebook group about it, figured I'd post here as well.


Who'd be up for a Halloween event? Even if we can't get a DM on, Derik and I can put on a good show for lower levels.

Sounds like fun. Probably can't make it myself with the whole Halloween evening stuff happening here (take kids trick-or-treating, hand out candy to others, sort and "quality control" check the kids' loot bags, and finally put all of them to bed).

Depending on the weather (I only get a decent connection while outside), I may put something on. If I do, it would likely be either 5 to 7 PM EST, or 9:30ish PM until whenever. But as mentioned, weather dependent

Assuming I have the right day, (ie. Sunday, 31st of October) I can see about maybe being online to help facilitate some undead shenanigans. Would be fun

Maybe some scarecrows, too!

Oh no! Dave may run it. *gets out 24hrs worth of snacks and drinks* luckily I have the perfect character for killing undead now. Looking forward to what ever is run on sunday.

I -might- wind up being really busy Sunday. If I miss the event, I'll run my own event Monday.

Oh fear not.... dave-with-job is less epic than dave-without-job when it comes to investing time and effort into making PCs grind through enough enemies that the server cries when trying to run the AI on more than 10 at a time due to the sheer number of spawns

I don't know how much time I will have if any, but I figure some smash-em-up is better than none. Even better if I can get inspired with a mini-plot idea between now and then

Any idea on what levels it would be targeting?

Whatever shows up.

Most of us longtimers have characters at all sorts of levels. So if we have someone coming into the event with nothing higher than a 10, chances are we can all mostly match him.

I would say that it will probably be for level 8 and up. The higher the better

As for time, lets shoot for 3PM EST.

Im going to be about 30 minutes behind schedule for the mass slaughter, my apologies. I will get in and start spawning stuff as soon as I get back.
