Epic Magic Research Suggestion
A suggestion for streamlinging the epic magic researching process...
I know dialogues are resource intensive, but I think perhaps a "big tome" placable that fires off a dialogue would simplify the researching process. Going across the "rooms" can be somewhat of a hassle with clicking on the pillars, and sometimes not "jumping" to the next one as one's supposed to (not to mention that the tileset used is not camera-angle friendly!).
With a dialogue, it would also be less "walking" to get to the various seed statues (many of which we can't click on to activate anyhow), and with a dialogue, a little explaination of what a particular step does can be added in.
A dialogue could also skip steps that simply dont apply to a given seed (which can be confusing to a casual player who doesn't know specifically that a DC modifer would have no affect on an AC increasing spell for example).
And from an RP standpoint.... it makes a bit more sense that researching is done by thumbing through ye ol' grand book of epic magical knowledge rather than touching arbitrary statues

Re: Epic Magic Research Suggestion
The only problem is that using a dialog for the process means nearly a hundred new scripts.
I'm going to be overhauling the epic magic system after I update a few other systems.

Is there any way to set conditionals in the transition triggers?
As in, if you are researching a summon spell, when you get to the transition that would normally take you to the "area of effect" step, the trigger will realize that your seed cannot have an area... and instead send you to the next applicable step/room?
Also, I do agree, the walls on the tileset not "hiding" their upper level when the camera angle hits them is a little irritating.
