Not Used: Damage types
I was thinking... if a hot area damages you, shouldn't it be HEAT DAMAGE? Because in the Searing Sands of Calithia, the heat causes fire damage. What if it was scalding hot water? Would it cause fire damage? Because since it is not fire, but hot water, shouldn't it be heat damage?

Yes.
I think the problem is though, the NWN engine only has a set number of damage types

Re: Not Used: Damage types
Hi, Abe.
Heat damage = fire damage in D&D. For the desert, I just don't go as far as scripting an exhaustion/fatigue system into Aenea (it could be done, I just don't feel like having to mess with it or having players have to worry about not eating/drinking/resting often enough).
I see it as, a burn is a burn, whether it's from an open flame or really hot water...both result in skin (and possibly what's under it) being overheated to the point of cell death.
