An Alternative to Alt+Tab

An alternative to Alt+Tab, if your system doesn't like to switch out of NWN with that particular windows shortcut...
Alt+Enter.
It doesn't "switch" like alt-tab does. What it does however is switch your game from full-screen mode to window mode, and back again, which in turn makes it easy to switch over to the forums and back again.

Thank you SOOOOO much for this Manny! I should have recommended you post it, but I didnt think of it, and I am very glad you thought to do so 
The game window is only slightly smaller than normal with this method, and you can use the mouse on the edge of the screen to rotate the camera (you need to use your middle-mouse button/scroll wheel by clicking it and moving the mouse), but otherwise the game seems to run better and switching back and forth between game and other programs is like.... 500% easier.

Yeah, that's a great tip. Personally, however, I prefer to play in windowed mode. That way I avoid any switching at all!

- To run NWN in windowed mode, you must edit the "nwn.ini" file, in your NWN folder.
1.
Under [Display Options], make sure your game resolution is less than
your desktop display settings. ex. If you are running 1024x768, then
change your nwn.ini's settings to Width=800 and Height=600.
2. Add this line under [Display Options]: AllowWindowedMode=1
3. Change the FullScreen number from 1 to 0.
4. Save the file.
You should end up with something that looks like the following.- Code:
