Used: Quick suggestion for those using option elfsize and brownie custom appearances...
Make the head selection process work like the armor mannequins/mystic crafting boots.
It would add a conversation, which eats up a few more resources than the current system, but it would allow PCs to "preview" the head before shelling out 5K for the head model swap (which can really add up quickly when you're trying to find the right head to fit your current headvfx's/skin/hair/tattoo colors).
And of course, rather than applying the PC's current armor appearance, one would apply current skin/hair/tattoo colors.
For those using option elfsize on their halfelves... the current system, if you want to swap head models on an elfsized half elf, it's a complete guessing game since obviously human head XYZ doesn't look like what elf head XYZ does... having to pick each head one after another can be VERY VERY expensive at 5K per preview. One could get a DM to jump them into the elf room, but that's a slight hassle for the player (having to wait for a DM to log on) and the DM (having to get to the right room which is a pain given how spaced out the area is). Having a single pair of male/female mannequins would simplify the process for the player and wouldn't require DM aide at all.
For the very rare instance of someone with a brownie appearance (the only custom voucher appearance that's dynamic), it'd still be a guessing game (if it's just the 7 playable race phenotypes like with the armor mannequins), but one woudln't have to get a DM to jump them into the human or elf room just to be able to select heads which don't result in oversized heads, or goblin heads (such as with halflings and gnomes, who have a very limited number of head models in the current system)
Another benefit of a mannequin that cycles through head appearances... I know there was a recent addition of a hooded male elf head added which isn't available normally in the head shop... that, and any future CEP additions (or any other head model additions aenea may receive) would be available without having to edit the module at all to addin another mannequin to the specific race's room.
And as for the consideration of those fugly as hell anime heads... yeah they'd be available with the system being able to cycle through all the head appearances.... but if someone really wants to look like a freak with them... nothing stops players from selecting those heads anyway with a common override in place at character creation.... not that I think anyone would really use them anyway because they're just so fugly. Overall the benefits would outweigh the negatives I think.

I could totally see how the current system could be a nightmare guessing game for folks with the custom appearances.
Might be worth a module resource investment...
