Public Release Dates Poll

I'm planning on publicly releasing (for anybody to use in their own modules/PWs) the weapon models I'm making, done in installments based on weapon type...basically like they get added to the PW haks. So the first batch would be the chain weapons, followed some time later by the axes (which just went into the Aenea haks yesterday).

Not all Aenea content will be released to the Vault, but I think stuff like the updates to the standard weapon models (which could even be used as an override if someone doesn't care about getting the additional color variations) would find lots of use out in the community.

The questions I have for the players are A) how long do you think I should keep the remade weapons an Aenea exclusive, and B) do you think I should release just the remade ones (the basic 4 colors) or the remade ones plus the extra ones?

I voted for a month delay; just in case there were any speedbumps, bugs, quirks, etc. This will give a little time for some IG testing.

I voted for at least 2 months and just the 4 basic colours... if people want the extra stuff they should come to Aenea for it, but there isn't a reason to not keep a "teaser" out there for people.... A kinda "this is the calibre of content in the Aenea PW, come and see what else we have".... ..

I voted the 1 month to iron out any bugs and I agree just the basic colours.

Personally, I agree with the 1 month choice, as Belarric pointed out, that gives a generous amount of time to work out any bugs. I also think that all the models should be released - there's not a terrible lot of content being released these days, so I think it would be good for all the builders out there to benefit from The Amethyst Dragon

's awesomeness. Besides, what makes Aenea great isn't just the improved and extended models - it's the whole shebang: The Amethyst Dragon

, the players, the content, the world itself. We have so much more than could ever be posted on the Vault, so I don't see a problem letting the GenPop have access to these things.

Plus, 'tis the season! (Do we have a Santa smiley?)
