isle of mists *** SPOILER ***

there's a cave in the middle of the isle of mists.
i'd like to go there.
i can't.
there's some sort of strange irridescent metalic ground tile separating it from the rest of the island and there's no getting over it.
also, i can't fly over it ; i get the confusing error message 'you are only allowed to fly above ground' [but isn't it above ground?]. i can't use magic to get there either [transference is blocked]. any hints???

Not certain, but this may be the isle for 40+ lvl characters; for taking the Reincarnation & Ascension paths, I believe.

- Once you've traveled the world and gained enough experience through countless {deadly} encounters, as well as having found certain key items. You can make the choice to travel to the Isle of Mists, where a certain goddess will await you at the end which gives you the choice to reincarnate/ascend.
