The Amethyst Dragon,
I've noticed that the commoners spawning in villages don't have names like before...is that intentional? Just got used to some of my chars being cheered at by specific mobs not 'commoners', heheh.

It is intentional. If you talk to one, you'll learn his or her name. They're still a friendly bunch, but they decided they were tired of wearing big nametags when not at a convention or team-building retreat.
