Hail All !

After reading another thread that seems to have been caused by this issue (no corpse after death, by disintegration/ lava/ really big hole) I was wondering if there is some way to better inform the player that using multiple gifts will do no good. I know/think I recall a message in the combat log is shown when you die by this method, but I'm not sure if there is at least a slightly delayed (to allow for loading times) floaty text message too...

Some kind of visual added to the player in the Great Hall would be great too...

And maybe if one does try to use a Gift of Zolaras after such a death the gift could NOT be used up, your already having to pay gold and xp (and time to get back to where you were, possibly) by having to walk the dias ....

... ... so the suggestion is this; you die by , enter the hall, (get combat log message and floaty text, which is ignored/missed), use a gift, (the gift script checks how you died and either fails to work and repeats previous messages, or gets used and replaced with a message of "Zolaras has gifted you again for trying to be so stupid, remember how you died" and then also repeating the combat log message and floaty text)... you feel slightly silly for trying to raise yourself into your previous pile of ash and walk across the dias to return to life.... .... ...

Anyone agree this is a good idea ?

Looks like disintegrate (both spell version and beholder eye ray version) give a warning in red text at time of death that no corpse is left. I'm adding a slightly delayed floaty text repeat of the same message.

If there is no corpse, zolaras' gift currently gives back 75% of the lost xp and sends a message to the PC that there's no corpse to return to life. I'll change that message to bright magenta float text.
