Not Used: Invisible cloak appearance for in-game modifications
Seeing as there are problems with visible cloaks, such as clipping issues with hair, backpacks, robes, quivers etc. and the fact characters don't RP so well with them(e.g. highly-resistant-to-weather types), I suggest making adding the invisible appearance to the crystal and boots.
Some cloak effects you can't get via vouchers or any item type other than the cloak, and those can be essential for some characters -namely the statuebreaker's cloak and cloak of displaced soul. If they're not modifiable, I suggest changing that as well.

Re: Not Used: Invisible cloak appearance for in-game modifications
There already is an invisible cloak appearance on Aenea.
It's only available through custom vouchers though (as it hasn't been included in the crystals or boots script)...it's name is "invisible". Saw it while checking out cloak appearances in the toolset.
On a not really related note, but still on similar-like topic: There's certain styles which make cloaks not show. I know of at least one anyway, it's the dragon style for monks.

There's also the trick with the mantles appearances. Dye all the clothe, leather and metal parts to the "mirror" color. That will make the entire item, not just the bottom invisible.

From FAQs and Helpful Info > Player Reward Items?:
Cloaks are big and obviously visible items (like armor, shields, etc.). If you're wearing one, people are going to know.
...2a. Create a new custom item. Customize the appearance and add properties. The following item types are unsupported or unused for PC-made items in Aenea:...
- - Cloak, No appearance (this includes the "invisible" cloak appearance for normal cloaks)...
