The Amethyst Dragon,

Are there currently plans to make the crafting system more robust with regards to materials (fire beetle chitin, shadowgaunt hide, etc)? Would love for some of those things found on critters to be able to be applied to the crafting process! (And indeed, other components as well, such as the adamantine and mithral bars.)

Also, would be nice if some areas to harvest ores were introduced (instead of just the wheelbarrow's worth of 3 ores found in a certain place per server reset), as well as a way to harvest wood for crafting ... you catch what i'm pitching, yes?

Yes, there are.

Once I get leatherworking added, you'll be able to make some more things out of leather, hides, chitin, etc.

After I get metallurgy added, I'll be expanding on mining/smelting/etc.

And after I get armorsmithing and weaponsmithing added, those metal bars (and other products of metallurgy) will be of more use.
