Love them gems!

Just a random thought I had as I was looking at the forum icons (popular, locked, etc.) -

Are the soul gems still in the game? I haven't seen any in some time, and I know that Sta'stillen has a few about her person ...

These have been very hard come by for my characters (same with the Blood Magic gems).

Phyllick has gathered 9 Soul Gems over the last 4 months, and some of those were bought. The others were 'drops' left behind by creatures much weaker than the ones he usually faces.

Phyllick knows that there is a merchant that sells one Soul Gem (per server reset?), but by the time his stumpy legs brings him to that market there is a noticeable hole in his inventory.

I didn't know that maybe they weren't in-game anymore, and if that's the case, it would explain a lot.

I took my most recent one off of the corpse of a mummy lord who no longer needed it just over a week ago, if I recall correctly, so I think they are still around.

They are still around, and are designed to be rare finds (although I did just see a PC with 50 of them yesterday...don't recall who it was).

These gems are still around, Jay carries a substantial stock of them and even has a few spares past the carrying limit.. I give spare ones out normally to people who accompany me and do great feats with lower level PC's (such as stay alive vs an Ancient Dragon)....

...I get them as drops from various different monsters at random points throughout Aenea.. just means you have to check each and every item bag.. (the most common oddly enough is the two goblins by the bridge just outside VV.. and the bladeworms located across the Calithian desert)..

...and you still get "soulgem collector" bonuses and "paragon of X" bonuses once every real life hour or two... although I haven't given too much notice to the exact frequency of those bonuses... ...

ahh maybe i should quit sacrificing them with treasure i don't want, but Dalix seems to like me alot more hehe
