Used: Bower and Fletcher Merchants

An idea I tossed out to you the other night .....

Merchants who sell basic arrows (and perhaps +1 and higher as well) with the different colored feathers on them (blue, tan and green arrows are already available at various shops, but there's no black, light blue, red (plain that is; orcfell arrows have red vfx feathers), orange, ect.

Could have them sell other archery themed goods as well. Would be nice to see merchants who sell arrows sell feathers as well, limited stack of enchanted arrows of various types... for those PCs who use tradeskills to make their own arrows.  Took me a while, but I finally DID find a merchant who sells unlimted feather items (Morty), but it seems odd that your archer types would run to a bug who sells magical components to get materials to make their unenchanted arrows... 


There's already 2 merchants I know of that have some of that.... mudhome's fletcher, and the elf town's fletcher.  Could simply update their merchant inventories a bit.  The one is relatively close to the vale for new PCs to make use of... the other is farther away, but has the nice everfull item to make the trip worth it.

And another idea off of that....

Add arrow variations to the tradeskills commands.... the default arrow comes out with the dark blue feathers... perhaps keep the default as that, but add in recipies for colored feathers.... shaft+feather+cloth or leather dye pot of the specific color (red, light blue, black, yellow, green, orange.... not sure what other arrow colors are available with the VFX quivers).

(ps, the crafting arrows produces 1 arrow per craft, not a stack of 99..... that's 594 gp (5 gp for the wood, 1 gp for the feather) in materials to make a stack of 99 arrows which have a value of 1 gp, as well as a lot of time as a PC cannot fit 99 planks of wood/99 projectile shafts in their inventory at one time.... so it's running back and forth to a merchant who sells wood planks)

One arrow per craft?  That sounds rather unreasonable, and I'd definitely petition for one plank of wood to make a whole stack of 99.

It should already according to the weaponsmithing TS list.  The lists seemed to be buggy in that the stacked items are not being created in stacks rather just 1 at a time.

I know of at least 2 merchants now who sell different colored arrows... so move to the used suggestions box?
