Epic Magic Ethereal Chest Summons Not Working ...

Ilolisa has a neat epic magic spell that creates a point where her ethereal chest can be summoned. Lately, though, it has not been working. The chest itself functions as usual (I checked with Arkon), but the epic spell seems to do nothing. It consumes one casting, and the spell vocalizations remain, but no chest can be summoned. Don't know if anyone else has experienced this or not ...

Are you casting it while near an echest rune? (black swirly symbol on floor)?

Or does the spell create the rune for you.....?

I seem to recall the spell just amking the rune, and then you have to use the vc commands:

;;echest call

;;echest hide

Yes, the spell creates the rune for you - or possibly, just recreates the conditions that allow a chest to be summoned.

I've never seen the spell actually create anything on the floor, I just use it and then I can summon the chest. At least that's how it worked, prior to whatever happened to make it not work ... to test it, I went to Arkons and ran through the process for normally calling the chest ... no problem. But when i go somewhere else (Entrom's, for example), nothing happens ... what I mean is, the spell is cast as normal, including the speaking of the spell name. But the commands for the chest do not respond to the spell, as if the spell isn't doing what it should be doing.

I've never seen the spell make a rune placeable on the ground.  If it used to do that, it definitely should again.  It took me a week or two to figure out that epic spell wasn't really broken.  The description/instructions on it aren't entirely clear on how the spell is supposed to function.

Just checked in-game yesterday, as I do every day ... the chest is back! Dunno why or how, but it's working again! Squash that bug, yo!
