It would be great if, after a few successful entries for a particular location, the sequence was added as an automated option. You could still input it manually, but those who don't have a good feeling for the order but figure their characters should(such as players returning after a break or those of highly capable characters), can get it done with proper efficiency.

I tend to agree.  It's nice that now the journal will update with the codes for the more vague clues once you've actually traveled to that gate successfully...

But it's STILL a massive chore to click in the code again and again and again and again.  It's not really a good and fun repetition.
