9 Years Online

Yes, RustyDios reminded me that Aenea has been online for 9 years.  Which means I've been working on Aenea in one way or another for a decade. 

I don't have anything special planned to celebrate at the moment (still getting settled into our new home here in Wisconsin), but I did add a couple of things a night or three ago:
1. Increased minimum XP per enemy to 15 (before subrace or other adjustments)
2. Increased general XP per enemy to triple what it normally is
3. Added a little treasure hunt: A few shops have a chance to sell a special Blade of the Nine (a dagger with a simple regeneration property). There are 8 other versions of this dagger out there. The more of these varied blades a character carries (to a max of nine different appearances), the more powerful the one wielded becomes upon equipping it. The other 8 versions are only in random NPC equipment.

Blade of the Nine - Aenea's 9 year dedication to all of us "pack rats"... collect all 9 and the one equipped becomes stronger.... how long will the blade be in the world for collection? Or is this a case of now it's added it will be around for ever....

I was gonna ask about that ... Because it's a hunt, I think it should be around for a loooong time!  Especially because I am the worst at hunting things down!

Ah, well.  Anyway, off to get some more steak.  Last one was a little flimsy.  Going to try and get one that's meteor and more filling this time.  Oh shoot, just saw the time store's about to close and I won't get my steak unless iron there fast.

The blades will stick around. I rather like them for a last minute idea.

Yes, the puns cometh!  The weaker of us shale tremble in fear, while the boulder of us will keep calm and quarry on!

Speaking of 9th anniversary, now that the server is behaving nicely again, any chance of getting everyone together for a 9th anniversary / server working celebration event?

Thirded, thirded, thirded!  Work work work, kids kids kids, blah blah blah!  (And it doesn't help that TOR is so awesome!)

Would love to log on and see the classic peeps around, though!  Maybe even just a sit around a bonfire and b.s. about days gone by ... Most interesting story I would have to tell is about the time that Crideas took Sta'stillen into the tunnels and got her brains sucked out!  She still has the scars to prove it.

So, how do folks feel about some Labor Day (September 7th shenanigans?)

I am flexible on time and type of shenanigans. We could do a scavenger hunt, trivia, dungeon crawl, arena extravaganza, or something totally different. Open to suggestions.

So, 9th anniversary has come and gone, and the 10th rolls around and Aenea lives on! I have been playing a bit lately, hope to see others on over the summer!

Speaking of blade of the 9, can I get a refresher ? It seems several different shops carry one blade or another, are the dropped ones just on random NPCs or are there particular ones to hunt? This looks like a good hunt for Skywatcher!

Almost the 11th year now! I am slowly making my way back to some gametime. It is nice to see Aenea still around, two other servers I played on have disappeared sadly enough.
