Another magic arrow to fletch...

Arrows of Dragonslaying, as found in the dragonslayer's shop.

Perhaps the requirements could be magic missile or lesser missile storm + dragon's blood?

I would think Greater Magic Weapon, Dragon's Blood, and Caster level 15 would be a little better... just my 2 cents.

One reason I wouldn't want to see the requirement so steep is, as powerful as the arrows are, you don't get a full 99 stack of arrows with fletching with the elementals (acid only gets 33 arrows per for example), and you can't recover arrows for reuse like you could with a explosive blade even, which can be recharged.

The acidic arrows give a stack of 33. The others (fire, ice, lightning) create a stack of 99. It uses the default stack size from the palette.

The stack size for an arrow of dragon slaying is 1. It's designed to be very rare, since it's very powerful.

I may or may not make it enchantible...we'll see.

Speaking of Arrows of Dragonslaying, the one per reset you can find at the statue, gives the essage "You found some arrows of Dragon-slaying". In my experience, the number found is always exactly one. Could we change that to 1 to 4 maybe?

Or change the message to "You found a single lousy arrow of dragon slaying, good luck sucka!"?

Ah, I see what's going on, and it involved some forgetfullness on my part.

Ok, the place where you can find the arrows now gives the proper number of them (or, it will after the next reset).

I'll be adding a much more rare and valuable greater arrow of dragon slaying (with a save-or-die for any dragon hit with it).

And regular arrows of dragon slaying are on my list to add to the enchantment system in the near future (they come by default in bundles of 12).
