I'm kind of curious.. how often do the DMs of Aenea put together events for the server? I read the post about "The end is near!" by The Amethyst Dragon and then the next one before that seems to be a Sparkletoes anti-bandit thing by Davey. Obviously there isn't a "we do an event on the 3rd weekend of every second month at 3 pm unless the sun is down in which case it's 4:12..." but like... when's the next onegoing to be? I love these things!

Kef's idea about getting roleplaying outside of big events could very well help shape the upcoming events, if The Amethyst Dragon and the aDMs find any decent material coming out of it. Check out the thread:
