A Strange Dream

I had a strange dream last night. I awoke at the Sleeping Dragon Inn and headed out in my quest to raise funds for somewhere to live. Suddenly I realised my axes had gone! I re-traced my steps but to no avail. Cursing my luck I resorted to the ways of my monastic training and fought with my feet and hands. In the midst of despatching a group of bandits a flash of light brought a strange man into our midst. The bandits fled, and the man called me by name. His name was Mythgar and he somehow knew of my plight. My axes were restored by this strange and powerful being and he disappeared as quickly as he arrived. I gave my thanks to Torgat and in another flash a great Avatar of Torgat was summoned. He told me of a quest for the great god, to rid the world of an illithyd somewhere in the realm of my ancestral home. Whether drow or elf I am uncertain, but I think the Sylvan Realm is where my search will begin.

When things could not get more strange a massive purple dragon appeared and bestowed upon me a favour I was owed for my experience. What this means I do not understand but I immediately felt my axes had become a part of me once more.

I awoke confused with axes in hand.

Tomorrow I head to the lands of the fair elves, to fulfil my god's wishes.

My Goddess Terris has commanded, through her avatar, that I assist you in this quest. Please, let me lend you my Strength and Fortitude in any way that I can. I would gladly accompany you...

I too have had...contact, if you will, urging me to travel with a band of brothers to rid the lands of evils that lie far underground. I do not know exactly what to make of the whole thing. Lysis willing, perhaps the purpose of it will become clearer while I prepare.
