Enchanting gloves

i have a set of gloves i want to enchant for shi'ssar...i got the 50 BoM's yet...when i try to add the +5 AB to them..it says they arent a melee weapon. Am i doing something wrong?

How are you trying to do this? Using PIES or the mystic forge?

got 50 BoM went into workshop.

typed : enchant enh melee +5 and got the popup saying that they werent melee weapons.

thats the issue right there then.

there is a different command switch for gloves

try using:

enchant enh gloves +5

that will make them +5 ac though wont it? i want attack bonus

Using the PIES to enhance gloves gives them attack and damage bonus, not AC bonus. I don't think there are any gloves in Aenea that give an AC bonus (unless those gloves cast a shield spell or something, and that doesn't count).
