With the scripts I have in place, namely SiliconScout's treasure system, I have to option of making it so that enemies drop their loot on the ground around them when they die.

With the very awesome changes to some items added with the CEP2.2, from the C.R.A.P. content, many of the items have appearances on the ground other than the default brown bag.

What do you think?

If I do implement this change, I'll also alter the sacrificial flame so that it will sacrifice items on the ground as well as remains, since this change would mean lots of stuff you may not value will get dropped along with the good stuff.

Also, and I just thought of this, I could make a VC command toggle for each PC whether the things they kill drop loot on the ground or keep it on their remains.

Before you vote, try putting down several different types of items in the Inn to see what I mean by a cool change.

I would appreciate the visual, I'm sure.

Problem for me would be having to pick each item up separateley, and THEN examine it.... with the remains the way they are, I can examine each thing in the loot window *before* it clutters my inventory.

i prefer having the items drop in the bag, i'm not too concerned with seeing the individual items on the ground, i think that would prove to be more of a hassle than the change would be worth.

If I read this correctly you can change how the loot is dropped yourself if the change were to go into effect. So if ya were to like the old way, you could still have it that way. Unless I read it wrong.

After seeing the new item placeables(other then the generic bag).. I like this idea... and it would be great to have a toggle for when picking up and identifing loot piece by piece becomes tedious...... is it also possible though using SS Treasure system that this only happens for certain monsters.. like the "big baddies".... or ones carrying rarer stuff.... or certain red dragon guarded chests.... I like and vote yes, but only if the toggle is put in too.... ....

Hmm, looting an enemies body instead of looting a bag is good, but it appears either everyone misunderstands what Amethyst is saying or I am. Normally I would loot an enemy by clicking on their dead body and searching that instead of a bag in most single player and pw's I like. I'm hoping Amethyst will implement body looting in this form, but either form is good.

What I'm looking at is making it so loot drops right on the ground instead of the items staying in the remains "bag".

I don't intend on making monsters stay looking like monsters after they die. I would like to, but the generic loot bag reduces the load on the server, especially in those areas where remains accumulate in large numbers. The simpler the model that is rendered, the less work for both player computers and the server.
