Question re: Winged Characters + Monk Speed
The 'Winged' subrace gives characters a 50% movement increase.
Monks get movement increases dependent on level, up to 130% at level 39.
How is this intened to work?
A.) Is the base speed calculated and then increases from both race and class added (?
B.) Is the base + Winged speed calculated, and then the Monk increase applied (49.5 ft/second)? Or conversely, Monk and then Winged increases applied?
C.) Is the greater of the two increases applied and the lower ignored (boo!)?
Or is it something different?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
30 ft/rd = Base
45 ft/rd = 30 (Base) + 15 (Winged)
48 ft/rd = 30 (Base) + 15 (Winged) + 3 (Monk)
49 ft/rd = 30 [(Base) + 15 (Winged)] + 4 ((Base+Winged)*Monk Bonus).
etc...
My Winged (50% increase) PC at 5th level Monk (10% increase) already moves pretty fast, and I hope that he'll move even faster when he reaches higher levels (part of the character concept). But when he sleeps, his movement rate is then decreased to (what it seems, it's hard to tell) only the Monk increase to his base speed and the Winged movement increase is ignored.
I'm also curious how Charge and Sprint are calculated, as wells as the Boots of Sprinting.

Re: Question re: Winged Characters + Monk Speed
Monk speed gets applied first, then the bonus for winged is calculated added.
At higher levels, your monk will top out, since the game engine can only handle so much speed...but it is very, very fast.
Sleep tends to remove many effects. Upon waking, you should be getting back the bonus from the wings on top of your monk speed. If you aren't (and don't just rely on the effect icons in the corner, check your character sheet window), then there's a problem.
Charge, Fleet of Foot, and boots of striding and springing get applied on top of whatever you have when they are activated.
