Three of the best custom spells in Aenea.

What would make them rock even more is if they could be cast in the same manner as flame weapon. With flame weapon (and magic weapon/greater magic weapon and keen), you can cast on yourself, or, on the individual weapon. Shock/Frost/Acidic weapons can only be cast on yourself however, and if you duel wield, it means weapon swapping for those three spells. This is only a minor convenience for the caster, duel-wielding meatshields companions would still have to swap weapons around to get buffed, but it would still be a nice little side benefit.

And maybe.... Sonic Weapon? Not many sonic based attacks/damages around. There's wounding whispers, soundburst, I *think* hellball has some sonic damage in it.

I thought the elemental damage spells could target an individual weapon in the inventory screen. I'll have to check and possible alter them.

As far as a sonic version...nah. There's practically nothing with sonic resistance (unlike the other elemental resistances), so it'd have to be a higher level spell, and I figure there's already the crystals of vibration.

Evasion vs. hellball...I can see that, but besides rogues/shadowdancers/assassins/monks, hardly anything has evasion.

I do have to get to work on adding those new epic spells...

You mean other than rangers, and anybody with boots of evasion?

Lots of folks prize that ability, and for good reason, its awesome...
and it should be, it isnt *easy* to get.... its just easier to get than Hellball.... hence I think Hellball shouldn't be subject to it.

Im fine with how evasion and imp. evasion work against other reflex spells, in all honesty.

Perhaps allow the spells to be castable on characters wearing gloves if they had no weapon in hand? Would be fun to buff up your local monk with some extra damage.

Any update on getting these spells to target specific weapons? I noticed the shivanni weapon spells and the undead weapon enhancing spell also can't be targetted on a specific weapon, only on the caster and affecting the main-hand weapon.

I would like to see some higher lvl scrolls of these for use in the game. Lvl 3 effect just does thrill me to try them for such a limited duration, though I have plenty higher lvl Flaming weapon scolls in tow.

Suggestion partially used. Weapon-enhancing spells will all properly target creatures and individual weapons in inventory after the next hak update.
