Used: Item idea: Spell crystals.
A simple idea, that could have a big impact. A small misc item that has a single use, 1 spell sequencer property. It would be useful for mages to have a teleport stashed away in a crystal for an emergency beam out, or to give to a meleer friend for use in their travels.

Im sure you already thought about scrolls, so...
So I am guessing that the idea here is to be able to make the item accessible to folks who can't normally use scrolls. Would that be the gist?

Re: Used: Item idea: Spell crystals.
Yup, thought about scrolls.
These would be kinda like glowsticks. Crack them, get some light, toss away the stick. It would also be a way for non-scribe casters to store an extra spell or two, or to supplement their scroll collection with a spell or two that just never seems to show up in the shops. Could even ave greater crystals that have two or three shots in them (But still non-recharngable) which could drop more rarely than normal crystals.

Re: Used: Item idea: Spell crystals.
I think having a temporary sequencer item is genious!
This would work best for classes other than the arcane spellcasters in my opinion, but there are alot of divine spellcasting classes compared to arcane ones, so it would be worth a try making such a custom item. If it is made to be expendable using charges for spell sequencer, then the item will actually be able to be implemented without scripts.

Re: Used: Item idea: Spell crystals.
I want to suggest that this be implemented, especially with the current 1/day restriction of Sequencers, even on custom items. Being consuable, it's less unbalanced, but still conveinent and viable.
Make the basic versions (1, 2 and 3 spell sequencers single use) craftable, and rarer, more potent versions (2 or 3 uses, in same varieties. Unchargeable) only gotten from certain drops. Make a player only able to carry one of each type and you have an easily accessible, but balanced, Sequencer item.
Not to mention it would be transferrable, so that another person could indeed get spells that they can't normally use without going to extreme measures

Re: Used: Item idea: Spell crystals.
After the next planned reset, the magical supplies merchant in Calithia should have a supply of these available.
