Epic Adventure Areas
It had been mentioned a while back that there were plans for some epic level areas/enemies.
Was just curious of there was any updates on this?

Re: Epic Adventure Areas
Still being worked on. It's tough to build a high level area that isn't just a bunch of baddies standing around waiting to pound you into mush.
Also, with school and all, I decided to focus some time on a few additions and bug fixes before summer break gives me more time.

Re: Epic Adventure Areas
As a temporary fix, I could handle bunches of baddies standing around waiting to smoosh me.... thats like the beholder caves.... i like that area, i just have issues with the beholder mechanics (lets not bother drudging those up) ... but the new epic area could be "upgraded" or added to at a later time...
Besides... there are places... like the Abyss, or the Hells... where there really are just high level baddies wiating around to kill stuff.... Blood War and all tha, ya know?
Githyanki Temples in Limbo.... elemental planes.....
Lots of places where things mill about until some fool adventurer steps foot nearby...and then the denizens go ballistic...
Even pocket dimensions of powerful spellcasters.... they have all sorts of guardians, etc...

Re: Epic Adventure Areas
Sorta like Crideas' tower? That's a pocket dimension, right? So why not add a few denizens and guardians and tempt unwary adventurers to get some sort of treasure at the end?
Or is that too evil?

Re: Epic Adventure Areas
Well... there are some issues.... I mean, Crideas can be a nice guy and all... but he is also just *slightly* paranoid... and really, really likes his privacy.
There really wouldnt ever be much in his sanctum to fight... except him.

Re: Epic Adventure Areas
I like this idea. gives those with Epic chracters something to do besides just going on Epic DM games. I would like to find one of these places, and see really how Bram holds up.
