Partially Used: Troll XP
I know the troll XP is working as intended right now... but I would like to suggest that trolls get an increase in CR that should increase the Xp gained form them.
They just take too darn long to kill and are tough enough and dangerous enough that they should get a bump, I think.

Agreed. My level 8 rogue/acrobat was getting 89 per scrag, and 80 XP per skeletal warrior in the graveyard. The time and effort to take down one scrag comes out to be about the same time it takes to clear out the central pathway of the graveyard and all it's skeletons. Far less potions required too.

I've just increased the bonus from 50 straight XP per troll to 100 XP per troll. Of course, this is split in parties, but a single character killing one will get a bit more. We'll see if this makes much of a difference...after the next planned reset.

How about you just add a normal exp that is small, plus the scripted exp bonus.
This way low level players will benefit more by surviving to tell the tale about trolls, while a expert (level 10) will get moderate exp plus the bonus, and a veteran (level 20) will only get the troll exp bonus.
Thus, lets say a troll is giving 500 exp bonus scripted when killed, but the CR gives a certain amount that favors those of level 10. As stated. Maybe then it would be 100 exp plus a scripted 500. However, for each level afterwards from 10, you would obviously get less and less exp, to the point at which you get only 4 exp minimum.
As such, trolls hunting would be favored almost as much as mindflayers and beholders, both of which should be epic level creatures, and should be hunted by players around epic level, or for those who want to pick on weaklings, players past epic levels (like near 35).
Hmm... trolls no matter what will be difficult to beat, with elemental trolls and scrags being very hard. So with my opinion...
Set the scripted exp bonus to something large for a character under level 8 but small for those over level 16 (around 200-500).
Give the trolls a challenge rating that will give okay experience that starts weaking the moment you go above level ten.
How about give the trolls some difficult AI? If they were to use knockdown every now and then, or were shamans to have decent skills as sorcerers, they would be deadly... and finally...
Make sure that even if trolls have a immunity they still will have a weakness to compensate.
A ice troll obviously has higher HP, AC, and Damage reduction, so why not make it even weaker to fire?
A fire troll can no longer be killed by fire, and cannot be harmed by fire, as well as adding fire damage to their melee attacks. So why not make their script use ice and acid for cause of death rather than only acid.
A scrag should have immunity to drown, and therefore, have only a minor advantage, leave them the way they are.

Is the bonus XP supposed to be factored in after the level scaled XP (ie, normal xp * level scale + 100) or before ( [normal xp + 100] * level scale)? If the former, I don't think it's working as intended, since Miow fought cinder trolls this morning at level... 29? and got 89 per, solo.
This is still, oh, over 20x better than the pitiful 4 xp she was getting before for a pack that takes her several RL minutes to clear, and eases the sting of the, "Oh my Gort, why won't they die yet, it would be ooc for me to have maxed out acid damage on one weapon but now I'm wishing I just would!" So if this is as intended I'll still complain a lot less about them, but if it's not, um, now it's known?

The 100 xp is added after the level scaling but before party splitting. As far as the 89 xp...do you have multiple classes (multi-class penalty inherent to NWN) or a subrace (subraces have an xp penalty)?
