June 9: Festival of Threes & Deity Favors

June 9 is the start of the in-game Festival of Threes to celebrate Aenea being online for 3 years as of June 16th. There are some festival merchants with items that will appear only during this time (one of which sells something for use outside of the game), and there is an archery contest (and will be other games soon).

Deity Favors

Some of the deity favors are now switched to the new system. Instead of favors being granted at random times, you can now call on your deity when you wish (up to 3 times per day). If you've gathered enough "piety", something nice will happen for you. Some deities now grant more than one type of favor, the exact one chosen at random by your god or goddess.

Not all the gods' favors have been converted over to the new system yet (remaining: Jewel, Kalas, Mystara, Prizimal, Ragnor, and Sorgath), but should be soon.

Want to call on your patron deity for a favor? Just enter bless me into the chat bar.



Oh, and for non-evil clerics and paladins, you can now also bless vials of holy water for throwing long distances (aka, holy water shuriken). Just use the command bless water thrown.
