June 11: Changes to Deity Favors (all)

After the next planned reset, all deity favors will be changed to the new system. Details on each favor will be listed on the deity pages when those are updated in the next couple of days.

Favors are no longer randomly timed things. Instead, you will use the new bless me VC command (which can be done up to 3 times per day) to ask for your deity's favor. If you have enough piety, a favor will be granted. If not, nothing happens.

If a favor is granted, you will use up some piety points and your deity will decide which favor to grant. Some of the gods and goddesses now grant more than one type of favor, and which one given is random.

How does one gain piety?

1. Use the green sacrificial flame on the remains of your defeated enemies. You can do a "mass sacrifice" by using the flame on yourself.

2. Use the sacrificial flame to sacrifice individual items out of your inventory.

3. Tithe money at an altar dedicated to your deity.

4. Pray at an altar dedicated to your deity.

5. Pray (via vc pray quiet, vc pray loud, emote pray, or emote worship).
