I kinda liked the keys, I just wish there were more than 3 per reset if one chose to use them.

The problem with passwords is that once you give it out, that person has permanent access to your home. You cant revoke it (without bothering Not Used: Player house passwords 787378), and if they choose to give your password to someone else.... oh well, now somebody you never authorized is able to galavant through your house.

If that is how it's indeed working, perhaps a temporary pass could be granted to the person you want to let in.

The door could check who is speaking the password, if it's not the owner, no open, unless they have a temp-access.

The owner could use the select tool on an ally, and use a VC command to grant temp access, lasting either for a set duration of time, or until used (to simulate the keys handed out... a player could hold on to a key for as long as they wanted, but it'd go poof when finally used).

In the meantime a short-term fix....

People can only get in whilst your about... if... you never give out your password...

You can speak it into the dm chat channel... this won't show up to anyone ( including yourself... it'll be seen by the dm's of course!) - but dm's already hve a free-pass to anywhere using the dm jump/teleport abilities.. ...

This doesn't solve the problem of wanting people to have access to your home when your not there though... .... ...

I'll see if I can work up a way so you can change the password in-game. Of course, it wouldn't update in your journal, but the door itself would be updated.

This one may take a couple of days.
