level area?

What is a good levelling area for a 13 sorc? (damage resistances for all three physical damage types, Stoneskin, Fire Shield and Acid Sheath, Greater Spell focus: Necromancy, Circle of Death, Ice storm fireball both missile storms for most of my spells)

Well, its *on* the map.... in a general sense... there is a marker for is general location....
but... whenever you are looking to get somewhere, and dont know how to get there... try asking a cleric of Gort.... there just happens to be a Mr. Longshanks in the Sleeping Dragon... he might know something.

I personally set up a few teleportation points between my high XP creatures that I kill at that level. The purple worms are out there and give awfully nice XP and there are a few others that I won't mention and will let people find...
However, as for an area that gives good consistant XP, I never found one. I always used the above tactics to get myself through those dreaded levels. Icereach might do it with the giants though....
if you are having trouble getting there, you can always try using a few Farstep Potions - they always have a chance of putting you there among other places.

Yeah, thats what I'm starting to do, buy the fartsep potions from Smitty. Oh, I also have Flesh to Stone (I think). And correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't casting magi cattract the Purple Worm to you? Either way, I might hire someone to bring me to Icereach.

If you really want to go to Icereach, you can always travel by boat.. seek he Harbour Master in Macedone and take to the seas onboard the Silver Moon....

Asides from bigbossbaddie types, beholders are it, and they should be paying very well. I can't imagine you getting less than 1500exp per spawn even if you had demonspawn subrace and multiclass penalty topped onto eachother O_o
