Weapon enchantment question...

Hey, y'all! Got a question for the collective brain...

Can ranged weapons (specifically a longbow) be enchanted with Blood of Magics? I don't remember, and it's been ages since I tried. Anyone help me out? Anyone? ... Anyone? ... Weapon enchantment question... Icon_surprised

Pretty sure they can, but it only adds to the bow's attack bonus (rather than an enhancement).

Correct. Enchanting of ranged launcher weapons can only add attack bonus (enhancement would be for the ammunition, although I forget if it's possible (although it's not particularly wise if so!) to enchant your bolts and arrows with hard won BoMs)

FYI - Attack bonus (and possibly damage bonus) do indeed count towards piercing damage reduction. So adding the attack bonus to a ranged launcher via BoM isn't all that bad of an idea towards that matter, and as we all know it adds to hit chance and all that, but I didnt know that it helped vs. DR until just recently. I only thought that enhancement did that, but apparantly not.

Along the same lines; does anyone know if it's possible to use BoMs to enhance the ammunition generated by an Everfull Quiver?

I don't know if it's possible to enhance the quiver itself, but it's possible to enhance the stacks of arrows it produces (which as I mentioned earlier, isn't particularly wise unless you have BoMs pouring out your ears by the second).

There was talk however of the "Everfull" stuff being BoM upgradeable though ?... I can't find the link but there was talk of it... ... or was that for elemental damages ??.....
