A Mascochist's Favorite Build?
I wonder if anyone would try levelling the following build....
Demonspawn Dwarf Rogue2, paladin 4, sorcerer 34.
Pretty powerful build on the face... divine grace, epic caster levels, maxed tumble, UMD, 45 SR at level 40... The most optimum mix would be 1 rogue, and 36 sorc (for a bonus feat), but for the purpose of masochism, you'd need 1 rogue from the start on through, and to gain max tumble dump, you'd have to relelvel, or take a second rogue level at 37th....
Why is it a masochist's build?
Demonspawn 30% XP penalty, and a multiclass penalty of 20% (for uneven rogue-paladin levels), and yet another multiclass penalty of 20% for the third class (sorc, which is uneven with both rogue and paladin) when all classes are 2 levels apart...
70% XP penalty. For what a non-penalty character would gain 100XP for, this build would only gain 30XP....
It hurts so much it's delicious!

Why not that build as a demonspawn elf? You get another 2 CHA instead of 2 CON

I would skip rogue and go monk. The UMD is nice... but sorceror covers all the arcane stuff... and paladin covers some of the divine, as well as giving access to some of the cooler class restricted weapons/armor.

It's not necessarily the classes that's important.... it's the total XP penalty that makes it interesting.
You could do a number of other class combos as well, as long as the base race isn't human/half-elf, can take demonspawn as a subrace, and the 3 classes aren't a favored class.

If you're looking for pain I would do stoneblood instead of deamonspawn. The xp penalty is only 20% but at 50% speed everything will take so much longer.

So true.... LOL.
That movement penalty is like an XP penalty in itself.

If you get boots of springing/stepping and add charge, you move just as fast as a hastened person! It does stack, I've done it. I charge everywhere now lol
