Don't you hate it when...

...you just finish something (like, say, an updates hak) and send it out, only to find one or two small changes you'd like to make hours after sending it out?


(Yes, just hours after uploading the latest aeneahak_updates.hak file, I made 2da changes that will require a new version of the updates hak...fixing some bugs and some minor stuff after running the CEP updater. I do try to wait at least a week between update haks, though, so these will wait for a bit before seeing the light of day.)

Same thing just happened to me, except with a final

... when you're waiting in the torrential down-pouring rain on some lazy mofo to come to do one little thing so you can finish your work, and the jackass has the gall to show up late, cursing at you in his native language which he *thinks* you don't speak fluently... and then says "It's raining!" like you're the idiot.

Hey.. at least that idea has been on-line (for a much wider audience) with constant improvements for over three years.. since 18th June 2006 (and god knows how long in a "closed test playgroup")

Not talking about the whole PW, RustyDios. Although that one is a constant work in progress, I am more than satisfied with it's development over the last 5 years (much of the time running, plus the year+ of development).

I could use a few more of me (each with a laptop so that all can work at the same time). 20 more should do for now.

IMO, some of Mr. Keatons best work, even next to Mr. Mom
and the first Batman. Certainly best comedic work.

...you get about 2/3 of the way through something, then realize you have to leave for something in a hurry, ruining that feeling of accomplishment?

(I've got only one more script to write to finish things for an herbalism tradeskill, and have to leave in about 2 minutes for my kid's karate class. )

On the other hand, you may rest satisfied in the knowledge that your kid is learning Karate, and you helped


In the final analysis, being a good dad is the best reward:)
