Not Used: Custom Vfx Ideas Empty Not Used: Custom Vfx Ideas

Hello World!

i know how painfull will be make the custom vfx for all itens of all kinds and such.... and i was wondering on my bed last night how to less this pain...

for example longswords... if all swords share the same scabbard model to place the sword its no need to make a top model of all kinds for swords...

and i think not much people care much about the botton of the sword... so only left to change the middle part of the sword i think can be a cool solution and yes it still need a lot of things anyway but its one idea....



another idea is about more feathers as acessorys but this time not for the cavaliers hats, this time to make things more shamanic like: indian feather earnings  
nose feathers, feathers on the left of the head and such... maybe so some tribal feather hat too

i forgot to mention but maybe some amulets to be attached as vfx when equip amulets would be very cool too

That was going to be one of my next model projects, after I work out some "base models with correct impact nodes" for each race/gender (for proper positioning of the effects)...after I get some free time.

Hmm, I have my own ideas to add.
Each weapon type can have its own type of scabbard.
Dagger, Longsword, Shortsword, Greatsword, HandAndAHalf aka Bastard Sword, Rapier, Falchion aka Shamshir, Club, Hand Axe aka Hatchet, Battle Axe, Greataxe, Doublesword, DoubleAxe, on and on.

yes i was thinked in this way too


and some vfx suit better around the belt like for rapiers and some others on back for great swords, daggers can have more cool places also to put the vfx, some for trowing daggers and others for normal daggers like daggers in the legs, maybe in the arms, and belt position also

Can't do VFX tied to arms or legs, just on the body or head. Aligned VFX have to be applied to either the "head" node or "impact" node of the PC's model, which are tied to the head and torso, respectively.

Update on VFX amulets...I might do a few different ones, but actually matching all of the available amulet icons is basically an impossible task (think close to 150 icons (some are duplicates) x 12 models each...way too much).
