Gemcutting skill

Would be nice if this skill had potential to actually cut 'useful' gems, like light gems or elemental crystals, or even Blood of Magic gems.
These could be very rare, but it would be nice to even have a 1% chance.

Amen to that, brother! Would it be possible to have another gemcutting tool, this one with a more delicate focus - or just have a different sort of uncut gemstone drop?

In that case then, this idea rocks and would make the skill sooo much more useful... but will it put the rest of the (mostly-non-profit) tradeskills at a disadvatage.. or not a disadvantages of sorts, more a kinda "so what's special about cooking"..... ...
