How about adding an option to add to the description in a new paragraph rather than replacing it? It kinda sucks that you're limited to one paragraph...

For now, add "\n\n" (without the quotation marks) to add a paragraph break in your text.

That didn't work either. The \n\n (and \n \n) both appear as part of the description.


Not sure how you have the script setup, but something I found on some other server with descirption tweaking.... they did each paragraph as a separate command, and the description was finished off with a separate finishing command. When the finishing command was entered, the paragraphs were all entered into the item/player's description. Perhaps something like that could work?
