The current implementation of the spells is done via tokens, and while they work well, I had an idea just now that might free up a few more resources and simplify the coding for them.

How about changing the two tokens into 1 feat that casts either Identify or Legend Lore (depending on your current caster level) much like the granted spell feats check your deity and cast the appropriate spell? That would mean only one feat and one script as opposed to 2 items and 2 scripts.

That's not to mention that it would free up a bit more of our precious inventory space.. as well as removing two items from the pallette towards that DM bug from too many items in the pallette that I've heard so much about...

I like... could likely easily be done by putting both sets of scripts on the feat script, and just checking for level to see which one is activated...

Alternatively two of the player tool feats could be used for these too, which a check for correct class before activating.. ..


The PC Green Info Crystal could be put into a feat as well, with the feat activating the current dialogue tree... ...

I'm sure there are other common items/tools that could be "feat-ed" ... (the sacrificial flame being one that springs to mind as well)....

Or these could always be activated with the proper vc command ... I am all in favor of clearing the clutter as far as inventory widgets and tools goes.
