New Spells Suggestion: Drains

Some new spell ideas, much like the one in Baldur's Gate which sparked the idea...

Lesser Life Drain
School: Necromancy
Level: Sorc/Wiz 1
Innate Level: 1
Components: Verbal, Somatic
Range: Medium
Target: Single
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes
Description:

The caster drains the targets life essence, doing 1d4 negative energy damage and healing the caster for that much. This spell has no effect on unliving targets, such as elementals, undead and constructs.

The caster drains the targets life essence, doing 12d4 negative energy damage and healing the caster for that much. This spell has no effect on unliving targets, such as elementals, undead and constructs.

The only thing I feel is missing is a name to put in front of it.... it just doesn't feel right without it for some reason....
