Another player reward item Q.

I should be having another chance at the chests soon,is it possilble to req.an upgrade to my currant weapon?, or easier[i think!] ,req a crystal that puts say 2d8 dam of some kind onto it,just as a one off item?...just a thought

Upgrade of an existing item is entirely possible. Just send me the new .erf file for the weapon (along with info on username, character name, and new value limit of the weapon).

I like the idea of an upgrade. If you had say at £20k scroll, would this be the value of the upgrade or of the total value of the weapon???

I know it seems like you could get more for your 20k, but the reward is really a custom item that nobody else has.

If you really just want to add to a weapon that's already available in Aenea to anybody, there are ways in-game to do that (elemental crystals, within Forge with blood of magic stones, temporary bonuses via magic weapon or frost weapon spell, etc.).

In my previous post, I thought you were referring to using the reward to upgrade a previous custom weapon.

So from your last post, if I wanted to upgrade my 20K reward item with my 160K reward item, the total allowed value would be 180K?

But if I wanted to upgrade my UberSwordofOrcKillin' the total value allowed would be 160K for the 160K reward?

Or am I still confused?

oh wait.... so does that mean, AD, when i upgraded my 20k boots with a 40k voucher, i should have gotten a total value of 60k?

They weren't put up to 60k? (checks in the toolset) Nope, I guess they weren't. So, yeah, I guess you've got some value to be added, Dave. If you go into the toolset and add a bit more, work it up to 60k or less, then send me a PM with what needs to be added, I'll change it in the module and swap them out for you sometime.
