My Father was a Dragon of no small repute. My mother a Necromancer of some accomplishment. To the best of my understanding, both are materially absent from Aenea. I make my own Destiny, Lysis permitting , but who really knows such things with any certainly?

Long have I wandered in Aenea, and yet I still find novel experiences. How did I miss such things my first, second, and subsequent journeys?

I am far stronger than most of my race - likely stronger than them all. This is, of course, should be nothing surprising to those who know me: my puissance is greater than most dragons.

Yet is it my mental aptitude from which I derive my most pride. It does not match most of the dedicated Arcane practitioners in Aenea I'm sure (though it could have had I the inclination and made other sacrifices). Long did I labor to increase my intelligence, for the glory of Kalas, and now I have some understanding of what mages contemplate.

Does this sound like hubris? An abundance of pride? Despite my stature, I am also Dragon born, and we think much of ourselves for reasons we believe appropriate. If you wish, let it be known that I was humbled multiple times my last visit in Aenea's arena. You may say I was handily bested*.

OOC: Curses, I wrote down the Monk PC's name that delivered several whoopings to me, but can't find it.

You little puke! How dare you abide in the ruins of my Father's house! *

Surrounded by your rats and rotting, empty bookshelves!? Selling wares thieved off bodies in the sewers is my guess... How is it that one of your kind is even tolerated in this city?

Did you play a role in stoking my Father's anger against Aenea? Or were you simply trying to extort a worm's living in the shadow of a Dragon? What do you know!?

I demand this of you worm, and will not be denied my Heritage, either in Property or Knowledge.

Breathe a name to me, the name I want to hear..

* Heh... I was going to submit a house plan on the site Kalamip speaks of. I was surprised when I saw, after a year or more, that it an in-game vender lives there now. And I remember him...

Twice now, and almost a thrice, have I most improved myself.

I have grown lazy. Does that surprise you? Likely not... My hoard is large yet I seek to further its volume.

My Liches whisper small secrets into my ears, and I learn and learn even more of Aenea - long have I employed their kind as guardians for my Shadow-gates, and despite their ... nature ... I have been well rewarded.

I require little sustenance. However, I'm a better cook than you might believe.

And as for gem-crafting, my ability can hardly be paralleled. Practice can no longer improve my skill in this matter. For some time this has been true.

I am also a great swimmer. Who would imagine?
